2. Legal framework

We process personal data in accordance with:

• Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR);
• Act CXII of 2011 on the Right of Informational Self-Determination and on Freedom of Information (Hungary);
• Act CVIII of 2001 on certain issues of electronic commerce services and information society services, where applicable.

3. What data we collect

• Contact form data: name, email, phone (optional), topic and message;
• Communication data: emails and phone enquiries;
• Technical data: IP address, browser type and pages visited (via cookies — see our Cookie Policy);
• Order / visit data: information you provide when ordering plants, arranging delivery or visiting the nursery.

4. Purposes and legal bases

• Responding to enquiries — Art. 6(1)(b) or 6(1)(f) GDPR;
• Fulfilment of contracts and orders (including local delivery) — Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR;
• Legal obligations (accounting and tax) — Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR and applicable Hungarian tax and accounting rules;
• Analytics — Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent via cookie banner);
• Marketing — only with consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

5. Retention

Enquiry data is kept for up to 24 months after the last meaningful contact, unless a longer period is required for an ongoing order or legal claim. Accounting records are retained for the periods required by Hungarian law. Cookie consent choices are stored until you change them or clear local storage.

6. Recipients and transfers

We do not sell your personal data. Data may be processed by IT and hosting providers acting as processors under our instructions. We do not intend to transfer personal data outside the European Economic Area. If that ever becomes necessary, we will use appropriate safeguards under Chapter V GDPR.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and data portability where applicable. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior lawful processing.

You may lodge a complaint with NAIH (contact details above) or seek a judicial remedy under Hungarian law.

8. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or alteration, taking into account the nature of a small retail nursery website.

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after updates constitutes acknowledgement of the revised policy where permitted by law.
